Find out the Benefit of Theatre

Hi! Today I am directly speaking with everyone, who needs to empower her/his creative skills or getting closer to her/his emotions.

Have you have considered theatre as a self-developing tool?
Well, I’ll give you few tips.

1 ☆ unleashing your endorphins with a theatre course

Early in my studies I had a clear view of the importance of Theatre as a means of dialogue with our body, our voice, our breathing.
Along with that, doing Theatre gives you the freedom to change your mindset (i.e. your mind paths)  and to have fun with other people.

Nack in my training years, at the end of my evening lessons I used to feel energized, rather than tired, and overflowing with new ideas.I felt more relaxed and filled with a vital energy that is unusual in everyday life.

On top of that, the most interesting thing was that such energy and molecules were being produced by me, within and throughout my body.

2 ☆ enhancing your social relations with theatre

When I moved to Milan, I had a hard time feeling comfortable on public transports: too many people in a small space.

As I started to study Theatre, I noticed I was getting smarter in carving my own space in that crowd. Working on your body means to deal with and work on your own space and on how you deal with other people in every kind of environment.

Not to mention the fact that I grew more comfortable as to the contact with strangers, which is pretty unavoidable when you are sticky-squeezed in the tube during the rush hour.

(To be honest, I must admit that, neither with theatre nor meditation, I have been able to deal with the fouls breaths you happen to smell in the tube…)

3 ☆ listening to yourself with theatre

How many times have you felt overloaded after a long interaction with people, for example at work, in your family, or while queuing at the bank?
Well, it happened to me pretty often – and it still happens, of course. However, doing Theatre gave me several tools to deal with this issue.
They can be summed up in one word: listening.

Knowing some theatrical techniques can help you maintaining a professional behavior, to get more familiar with your body, express your feelings and learn new things that can be employed in everyday life.

That’s why I have crafted the Wellness Theatre Workshop(s).
